Required License/Registration/Certification

American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and Kentucky State Radiation Operators License. Computed Tomography (CT) certification obtained within one year of hire date

This position may require sitting, standing and/or walking for extended periods of time with lifting, pushing and/or pulling objects over 50 lbs.

Job Summary

The Lead CT Technologist at the Chandler campus is responsible for fulfilling all standard duties of a CT Technologist while also taking on additional leadership responsibilities to support daily operations. In this peer leadership role, the individual will assist with resource coordination, workflow oversight, and quality assurance of imaging.

Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with departmental policies and procedures, collaborating with management to implement process improvements and quality initiatives, serving as a liaison for Radiology faculty communication, and performing other duties as assigned.

Proven ability to manage competing priorities while upholding standards of radiation safety and maintaining comprehensive knowledge of CT image quality and production.

Preferred Education/Experience

An Associate’s degree is required, along with a minimum of four years of relevant experience in a CT department within an academic medical center. Experience in Cardiac CT, as well as in both adult and pediatric patient care, is essential. Preference will be given to candidates with Level 1 trauma experience. Prior experience in leading or managing a CT unit is highly desirable.
