Position Summary: Provides leadership and direction to staff. Supervises and oversees staff activities to ensure that friendly, competent and efficient service is provided to all patients. Is knowledgeable and abides by clinic policies and procedures. Works with management to ensure department operations and relations are effective.
Essential Job Functions: Responsibilities will be to provide support with the daily activities of our medical office including greeting patients, registration, updating patient information, telephone coverage, appointment and procedure scheduling. Will need to maintain a professional image in appearance as well as over the phone. Also, will need to balance team and individual responsibilities while providing courteous and friendly service to all patients and staff members and contribute to building a positive work environment. Meeting attendance as required. -Provides courteous and friendly service to all patients, customers, and co-workers. -Demonstrates accuracy & thoroughness when entering info in computer systems -Demonstrates integrity and respect. --Communicates and listens effectively. -Ensure adherence to all clinic and department policies and procedures. -Leads & supervises reception team – Communicates with team effectively and in a timely manner, learns new systems/processes in order to be able to appropriately coach team members, oversees, reception coverage, and appropriately delegate work. -Works closely with management, other supervisors, and co-workers to implement and meet departmental goals -Checks for accuracy in provider schedules and helps make changes, as needed, in scheduling software system. -Continuously looking for areas of improvement and works with others to implement -Monitor team members individual and group performance. -Participate in team member 90 day and annual reviews. -Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: We are looking for a team player with strong customer service and multi-tasking skills in a busy office setting. Proficient computer skills and professional and friendly demeanor. Candidate should be detail-oriented, a self-starter, and have a high level of integrity. Previous office experience preferred but not mandatory
Hours: Monday-Friday 8-5
