JOB SUMMARY

Supports Legacy Records Projects for UTA as directed by the Records Specialist Supervisor. Make independent judgments about records processing and retention. Perform processing and identifying record types for Human Resources. Provides support to Records Specialist Supervisor for records related issues.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/TRAINING:

High School Diploma.

Knowledge of Records Management systems preferred.

Must participate in Records Management education as directed by the Records Specialist Supervisor.

EXPERIENCE:

Two years in an administrative office as a records specialist or managing large volume of confidential records. Experience with physical and electronic document management. Must have working knowledge of electronic workflow document processes and general physical records management.

Knowledge/Skills:

  • 2 years’ experience in an administrative office processing confidential records.
  • 2 years’ experience with physical and electronic document management.
  • Must have working knowledge of electronic workflow document processes and general physical records management.
  • Basic proficiency in MS Word and Excel
  • Analytical skills
  • Work with multiple levels of personnel
  • Detail oriented
  • Demonstrated excellent oral/written communication and organization skills
  • Works without direction; prioritize work, meet set deadlines with the ability to make independent judgement

Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm

Closes: Open until filled

Pay Rate: $22.93/HR
