DescriptionAll standard Medical Assisting duties (clinical and clerical) including; Telephones, Pre-Certifications, rooming patients, obtaining and documenting patient vitals and histories, assisting physician or provider with exams and minor procedures, and various other duties as assigned or needed.   • Pre-certifications
  • Medication Refills
  • Assistance with scheduling on occasion
  • Rooming patients
  • Obtaining and documenting patient vitals and histories.
  • Preparing patients for exams.
  • Assisting physician (provider) with exams and minor procedures
  • Injections
  • Stocking, monitoring and cleaning exam rooms/work area and patient waiting areas.
  • Various other duties as assigned/needed.
  • As expected with all healthcare positions, must adhere to HIPAA/OSHA/BLOODBORNE PATHOGEN regulations and maintain annual required workplace trainings.
  • Must be Registered or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant.
    • Licensed Practical Nurse will also be considered for this position.
