About the Role:

The Relationship Banker serves as a high-impact, trusted financial expert, who delivers IncredibleBank’s ICE — Incredible Customer Experience — through, strategic engagement, deep product knowledge, and personalized service. Duties and responsibilities may include:
- Deliver IncredibleBank’s ICE experience through strategic engagement, expert financial guidance, and personalized service to build trust and deepen client relationships.
- Serve as the primary financial expert for a diverse mix of consumer and business clients, providing tailored solutions that align with their goals and drive long-term value.
- Conduct in-depth financial conversations to uncover client needs and recommend appropriate products and services that support financial well-being.
- Lead complex banking interactions, including consumer lending, business account setup, credit card support, and IRA services, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Initiate proactive outreach to strengthen existing relationships and identify opportunities to connect with new clients, contributing to branch growth.
- Collaborate with internal partners (e.g., Cash Management, Mortgage, Wealth) to deliver holistic financial strategies and seamless customer experience.
- Guide clients through onboarding, ensuring they are welcomed, educated, and set up for success from day one.
- Monitor and mitigate risk by applying advanced fraud detection and compliance knowledge, escalating issues when necessary to protect clients and the bank.
- Drive business growth through consultative engagement, cross-selling, and qualified referrals that support branch sales initiatives.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and contribute to branch-wide initiatives that improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
- Mentor and support team members, serving as an informal leader to promote collaboration, knowledge sharing, and professional development.
This is a regular full-time, hourly non-exempt position, averaging approximately 40 hours/week. Schedule may vary between the hours of 8:00 am to 5:30 pm EST Monday through Friday and 9 am to 12 pm EST on Saturdays.
This position will work on-site at our IncredibleBank branch location in Calumet, MI. Intermittent travel may be required to support other bank locations.

- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field preferred, providing a strong foundation in financial principals and customer engagement.
- Completion of specialized training (e.g., Personal Banker School) within one year of hire is highly valued, ensuring readiness to deliver advanced financial solutions and support.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in a relationship-oriented, client-centric banking environment demonstrating the ability to build trust and deliver personalized service.
- Expertise in complex banking products, including consumer loans, IRAs, and business accounts, ensuring accurate setup, management, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong risk and compliance awareness, with hands-on experience in fraud prevention and mitigation to protect customer assets and uphold institutional integrity.
- Exceptional relationship management, with a focus on deepening client connections, cultivating new opportunities, and driving branch growth through proactive outreach.
