Some other times may be necessary based on specimen prcurement needs.Job SummaryThe Department of Neuroscience and the laboratory of Dr. Lance Johnson are seeking an experienced and highly organized Research Project Manager to provide day-to-day operations for multiple NIH- and foundation-funded research projects within the Johnson lab.This position will coordinate project planning and implementation across faculty, trainees, staff, and external collaborators; track timelines and deliverables; and ensure clear documentation, communication, and follow-through.
The Project Manager will provide grant administration support including budget tracking, reporting timelines, and preparation of sponsor-facing materials (e.g., progress report components) in coordination with the PI and university partners. The role also includes organizing meetings, events, and travel; preparing agendas and action-item tracking; and supporting the development of scholarly products (manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and presentations) through coordination, editing support, and version control. Limited effort will support regulatory and human subjects documentation/IRB coordination as needed.
