Duties include training personnel, conducting and supervising in vitro and in vivo experiments and benchtop assays, and ensuring progress of all the lab’s research projects. The scientist is also responsible for preparing results for dissemination and drafting abstracts, manuscripts, and assisting in preparing nationally competitive grant proposals.
