Description
The Department of Operations Research & Financial Engineering (ORFE) invites applications for a postdoctoral research associate position to work broadly in stochastic and statistical modeling of electricity grids and markets, with Professors Rene Carmona and Ronnie Sircar. The position is for one year with the possibility of reappointment based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding. The anticipated start date for the position is July 1, 2026.
Individuals with a strong theoretical background who will have earned or expects to earn a PhD in a related field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, computer science, electrical engineering, or operations research) before June 2026 are encouraged to apply. Ideal candidates will display outstanding ability for research and a record of publication in the field of their PhD.
