Interested candidates should apply to be considered. Essential Functions These are the job duties required of the position.Essential Functions- Conducts various risk investigations, including incidents, adverse events and complaints; prepares reports on findings to Risk Management.
- Assists with providing Risk Management services to hospital and clinical departments.
- Reviews and processes legal requests to ensure HIPAA compliance and records prior to release.
- Reviews medical records and documentation for potential risk issues.
- Maintains working knowledge of the Shield reporting system for hospital and clinic incidents.
- Participates in multi-disciplinary meetings.
- Researches and reports on patient issues; creates detailed medical summaries.
- Attends hospital, clinical, and/or campus meetings as needed.
- Regular and prompt attendance.
- Ability to work schedule as defined and additional hours as required.
- Related duties as required.
