Position Summary:

The Manager I, Community Sales will lead a team of Community Associate Account Executives (early career sales people) to maximize the sales of our retailer directed leads while also representing the Community Sales voice, working with peers across Sales and Customer Success related to program success and inter-departmental collaboration. Key to this role is the development of individual contributors on the team with Community Sales acting as the launch pad for their careers.

Essential Responsibilities / Duties

• Provide daily direction and communication to the team to promote healthy development and ensure deadlines are met in a timely and efficient manner

• Provide insight and feedback regarding relevant trends and program updates to cross-functional stakeholders including reporting, tracking and confirming process compliance for all leads, opportunities and campaigns

• Act as a key contributor to internal process improvements/management within Community Sales (e.g., territory, new hire onboarding, KPI reporting, GTM launches)

• Manage a team pipeline via Salesforce and weekly pipeline meetings, ensuring the necessary information needed for a monthly forecast is accurate and present

• Provide regular developmental 1:1’s, counseling team members on development in role and for their next position while driving team engagement

• Collaborate with Community Sales Management peers as part of decision-making process/resourcing as needed

• Manage and coordinate territory/lead management

• Roll up and/or report on any necessary decisions to Sales VP

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience plus 3-5 years relevant experience with demonstrated leadership experience (formal or informal)

• Ability to translate, simplify and clearly communicate (both verbal and written) complex business processes to individuals with varied levels of expertise

• Process-focused with a close attention to detail

• Demonstrative behaviors around integrity, engagement, self-driven initiative, collaboration, and relationship building

• Experience coaching, mentoring and leading others in either formal or informal situations

• Ability to receive and give constructive feedback

Preferred Experience

• 1+ year of Community Sales experience

• Proven competence with Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Salesforce.com

What We Offer:

At SPS Commerce, we are committed to ensuring that each employee's compensation reflects their unique experiences, performance, and skills in their role. The compensation range for this role considers several factors, including education, relevant skills, work history, certifications, location, and more. SPS provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and annualized commission target for this role.

The compensation package includes a base salary between $56,000 and $89,000 + Commission and Equity. Actual compensation will be determined based on the factors listed above and may fall anywhere within the range.
