Sales Process Specialist - MidMarket

This position is responsible for providing MidMarket Sales teams with the support and resources needed to maximize sales opportunities by working with prospects and Sales personnel in order to process all sales opportunities efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Interacts with Sales personnel and management in regard to bids, reports, information, correspondence and quote pricing process.
  • Acts as resource for Market Sales and point of contact for prospects during data collection process.  Coordinates responses to prospect/Business Performance Advisor/Business Performance Consultant inquiries (phone/email) ensuring they receive timely responses.
  • Analyzes, reviews, and approves workers compensation risk for new clients, and annual workers compensation risk on existing clients for the purpose of renewals.
  • Analyzes, reviews, and approves health care risk for new clients, and annual health care risk on existing clients for the purpose of renewals.
  • Analyzes and reviews all pricing based on review criteria to provide competitive rating on new and existing clients.
  • Develops and maintains spreadsheets and databases for analysis and interpretation of data relating to direct cost pricing.
  • Manages lost prospect surveys and data compilation. Analyzes and organizes data to make recommendations.
  • Audits census received from Sales personnel.
  • Audits and documents changes made by Sales personnel after census submission.
  • Processes enrollment fee checks in order for Sales personnel to receive commission.
  • Generates sales numbers for reports.
  • Calculates bid information manually.
  • Generates, compiles and creates sales activity numbers.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor’s Degree in related field is preferred.
  • Five years of experience in related field is preferred.

Skills

  • Proven problem solving skills. Proficient in using Word and Excel; working knowledge of database computer programs. Able to plan and organize workflow under narrow time limitations.
  • Communicates tactfully and effectively, verbally and in writing, and maintains effective work relations with those encountered in the course of employment.
