About the role:
An SAP Technical Integration Architect is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions that integrate SAP systems with other enterprise applications and systems. This involves ensuring seamless data flow, process integration, and optimal performance across the organization's landscape. They act as a bridge between business requirements, functional teams, and technical development, translating business needs into technical solutions
What you will do:
- Bridging the gap between the business needs and the technical implementation of SAP integrations, ensuring that the integrated systems function efficiently, securely, and effectively, while utilizing SAP technical best practices.
- Monitoring MLA's SAP integrations landscape, Identifying and resolving technical issues related to SAP integrations, and often acting as a subject matter expert.
- Working closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and development teams to gather requirements, validate designs, and ensure successful implementations. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to strengthen SAP technical
- skills with stakeholders and IT.
- Creating technical specifications, integration designs, and other relevant documentation to support the integration process.
When & Where:
Normal office hours, additional off hour or weekend support for IT operations or Project Implementations.
Some travel to other MLA sites to support Project Implementations or Business Meetings and Initiatives.
What you need to have:
- Bachelor's degree
- 7 - 10 Years of Experience
- Designing overall technical architecture for SAP integrations, defining integration patterns, data models, and security protocols.
- Overseeing the development and implementation of integration solutions, custom development, standard adapters and middleware.
- Providing technical guidance and best practices to development teams on SAP integration technologies and architectures.
- Ensuring the integrated systems perform optimally, handling data volume, latency, & other performance-related conditions.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP systems, integration tools, & cloud platforms, with the ability to design, implement, & manage complex integrated solutions.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management skills with the ability to lead/mentor dev teams and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Solid understanding of various integration technologies like APIs, web services, REST APIs, and messaging protocols.
- Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) services and development frameworks
What would be nice to have:
- Deep knowledge of SAP modules including S/4HANA, BTP, ALM, CPI, MDG, Fiori, and HANA databases.
- Proficiency in SAP Integration Suite components like API Management, Open Connectors, and Integration Builder.
- Experience with cloud-based SAP solutions and migration strategies
- Ability to be a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on SAP Technical best practices and emerging technologies.
- Experience migrating legacy systems to SAP, including data migration strategies.
- A strong background in ABAP development, potentially including experience with ABAP Proxies, Java mapping, and XSLT mapping

The salary for this position ranges from $140,168 to $155,925 annually. The specific salary for a successful candidate will depend upon, among other legitimate factors, education, training, and/or experience.
