
SCADpro Operations Coordinator
As an operations coordinator for SCADpro, the university’s boutique creative consultancy, you will serve as the main contact for students regarding project logistics, scheduling, and operational support. You will communicate promptly and effectively to meet student needs and assist SCADpro leadership with project completion and collaboration management. Responsibilities include the development and implementation of operational plans for events and logistics coordination such as venue reservations, supply management, and rehearsal schedules. Additionally, you will organize space usage and schedules for meetings, student work sessions, and internal workshops, including SCAD Day, industry visits, and high-profile presentations. You will also coordinate kickoffs or launches, midterms, final presentations, and unveilings.
In this position, you will collaborate with leadership to create and maintain SCADpro showcase displays and digital exhibits that feature student work. You will initiate and monitor work orders to completion and coordinate the gathering and submission of quarterly project reports and data for leadership review to ensure accurate and timely delivery. You will also oversee work-study students. Responsibilities include preparing buildings for SCAD Day, scheduling extended learning opportunities (ELOs) and workshops, and managing classroom reservations. Additionally, you will act as the primary contact for the physical resources department and coordinate end-of-quarter documentation, including faculty reminders for syllabi, feedback, and final grade submissions.
In this role, you will maintain operational supplies, coordinating with physical resources and IT to ensure all SCADpro equipment, software, and buildings are fully functional and presentation ready. Additionally, you will work with housekeeping to keep SCADpro studios and classrooms as client-ready, creative workspaces. Among other duties, you will manage leadership calendars, schedule meetings with internal teams and external industry partners, and ensure all engagements are well coordinated. You will also support logistics for alumni and professional mentor visits, including reserving travel accommodations, the creation of schedules and personalized itineraries that align with project goals, and student engagement.

Minimum qualifications:
- At least one year of related professional experience
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, Banner, or a similar database
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Successful work experience in an academic environment
Certificates, licenses, and registrations:
- Valid driver’s license
Travel required:
- Less than 10%
Work hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
