The successful applicant will be expected to independently design and execute experiments, direct the work of junior lab members including graduate students and postdoctoral fellows, and contribute to manuscript and grant writing. Strong organizational, communication, and scientific writing skills are essential, as is the ability to troubleshoot experimental and technical challenges independently.

The ideal candidate will have a doctoral degree and expertise in molecular biology techniques, and both in vitro and in vivo experimental models. Additional beneficial experience includes neurochemistry, cerebral metabolism research, regulatory compliance with IACUC/IRB protocols, and presenting research findings at national conferences.Skills / Knowledge / AbilitiesDoes this position have supervisory responsibilities?
