Training will be provided.ShiftM-F between 8:30-5pmJob SummaryThe College of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine – Rheumatology is seeking an individual to perform scientific research for ongoing research projects.

This position will work on National Institutes of Health (NIH) – funded projects studying innate immune signaling and responses. This collaborative project will examine the intersection of interferon system in autoimmune diseases. Currently, there are several ongoing projects in the laboratory to study the role of 14-3-3z and IRF in autoimmune diseases.

Additional responsibilities include experimentation, lab management, organization, communication and training of lab personnel.Skills / Knowledge / AbilitiesExcellent communication, regulatory documentation experience, Proficiency in genetic and molecular biology techniques,Familiarity with mouse colonies and small animal surgeries,Ability to manage federally funded research operations,Strong organizational and leadership skillsDoes this position have supervisory responsibilities?
