The Global Advertising and Brand Management (GABM) team is responsible for creating marketplace demand and driving commerce for American Express products and services through differentiated and innovative branding, marketing, and experiences. We have an ambitious goal: to be the most admired brand in the Fortune 500 and we aim to deliver on that by doing work that is both creative and effective. The Premium Events and Experiences Team sits within GABM. The team executes and enables memorable events and experiences for our proprietary premium Card Members while delivering on product goals and benefit partner experiences. Experiences are a core passion of our Members, and drive loyalty and engagement with our products and our brand.
We are seeking a Senior Analyst, Events and Experiences, to be a key member of the team and play a critical role in overseeing Card Member experiences. This individual will support Centurion Events and support the broader team across priority workstreams including budget management.
The role requires strong collaboration across multiple cross-functional business partners, including Product, Business Development, Sponsorships, Brand, Marketing, PR/Social, GCO, Compliance, and Servicing. In addition, the Senior Analyst will work directly with agency partners in building and executing experiential concepts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support strategy and execution of Centurion experiences
- Partner with Senior Manager and Agency partners on development of experiential calendar and execution of experiences
- Partner with legal and compliance to develop terms and conditions
- Build marketing and ticketing strategy to drive CM awareness and attendance
- Manage budget and results to inform future learnings
- Oversee and support Centurion New York experience
- Partner with Global Business Integration (GBI) to manage and execute servicing documents related to Centurion New York events and deliver experiences to drive visitation and satisfaction at Centurion New York
- Partner closely with agencies on the development of annual calendar
- Partner with Global Business Integration (GBI) to manage and execute servicing documents related to Centurion New York events
- Develop & Manage event Resy pages for experiences, partnering with marketing counterpart for necessary approval
- Manage Centurion Tunnel Suite Benefit at Crypto.com Arena
- Own the relationship between AEG/Crypto.com Arena & American Express
- Coordinate with internal servicing partners to ensure that all crypto arena inventory is uploaded to Cendyn Ovations
- Partner with product teams on strategies to drive benefit awareness and utilization
- Team Budget Management
- Oversee and manage team budget lines, ensuring full utilization by year-end and identifying opportunities for give-backs
- Work with agency partners to collect and submit invoices and manage individual agency budgets
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to facilitate budget transfer requests as needed
- Provide strategic project and incremental experience support as needed
Skills:
- Previous marketing background and a creative, strategic thinker with strong track record of delivering quantifiable results
- Proven track record in managing multiple workstreams, partners and cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated ability to work proactively and drive results with minimal direction
- Strong partner management experience and relationship building abilities
- Exceptional verbal/written communication skills
- Confidence in working with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Strong interest in events with event ideation/production experience a plus
- Budget management experience
- Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel
Salary Range: $78,000.00 to $124,750.00 annually + bonus + benefits
