The Role

The Senior Analyst, Reconciliation Support role will include a combination of research and resolution of our daily exceptions, support of our internal and external business partners, as well as ongoing project support. The ideal candidate is comfortable with change and ambiguity, can work independently and as part of team, is open to new ideas, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role will report to the Manager of Reconciliation Services.

  • Ensure timely reconciliation and exception resolution of complex accounts, securities.

  • Assist with research, trouble shooting, escalation and resolution for more complex activity, discrepancies, or widespread production issues

  • Assist associates in prioritizing research, follow-up, and resolution for all reconciliation items

  • Identify, participate, and encourage the team’s participation in development of cross-divisional business initiatives

  • Prepare, analyze, and review various daily/ weekly/ monthly/ adhoc oversight reviews and management reports

  • Assist/provide business requirements for Frontier and/ or other systems improvements

  • Communication, coordination, and relationship building with onshore and offshore team

  • Basic knowledge of processes, systems, and tools used by the teams to perform reconciliations (i.e. Frontier)

  • recognize high risk items and escalate those items or seek assistance to minimize potential loss to either the shareholder and or / Fidelity

The Skills and Experience You Bring

  • 3-5 years of relevant industry experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferably in either Accounting, Finance or Economics

  • Expertise of reconciliations and industry regulations

  • Expertise of cash & securities movement

  • Expertise of accounting principles

  • Expertise of the various elements of NAV, Mil or Yield calculation

  • Strong digital literacy, knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (such as Word or Excel)

  • Working knowledge of Tableau, RSuite and Microsoft Power BI
