The Enterprise Data and AI organization unites data governance, strategy, engineering, and product teams with those responsible for AI engineering, generative AI enablement, and automation product and engineering. This group plays a pivotal role in leveraging data as a core driver of innovation and integrating AI capabilities to transform products, operations, and customer experiences. The EDAI organization also incorporates technology Research & Development and experimentation with emerging capabilities, along with engineering support for Amex Digital Labs. This integration ensures that research breakthroughs seamlessly translate into business impact.

About the Role:

As a Senior Associate, Delivery Management in the Enterprise Data and AI Organization, you will support the delivery of strategic technology initiatives on the Generative AI Enterprise Enablement Team. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to help drive platform strategy and ensure smooth onboarding and execution of new platforms. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn and can apply knowledge within a dynamic tech environment, and that works well within a collaborative and fast-paced team.

Responsibilities:

• Support end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional platform initiatives from concept through production launch.
• Drive execution across engineering, product, architecture, security, infrastructure, and operations teams.
• Ensure scalable, reliable, and secure platform capabilities that enable internal and external products.
• Own program planning, roadmap alignment, dependency management, and risk mitigation for platform delivery initiatives.
• Work with enablement partners to track KPIs, OKRs, and delivery metrics to ensure transparency and accountability.
• Identify and proactively manage cross-team dependencies and constraints.
• Facilitate program governance, executive reporting, and stakeholder communications.
• Lead issue resolution, escalation management, and decision-making forums.
• Ensure platform solutions meet performance, resiliency, compliance, and security standards.
• Foster a collaborative, positive, and inclusive team environment.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in project or program management work is preferred
• Experience in Agile software development methodologies and practices such as Scrum/Kanban, iterations, user stories
• Experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira or Rally a plus
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and be a thought leader

Salary Range: $89,250.00 to $150,250.00 annually + bonus + benefits
