How will you make an impact in this role?
We're looking for a talented and passionate Sr. Associate Product Manager to join the MYCA (Manage Your Card Account) Web Account Services team. This role will support the Product Manager in the ideation and development of the Alerts & Settings portfolio, which supports regulatory initiatives, new market enablement's, and feature enhancements to drive results for the enterprise on a global scale.
The successful candidate will have experience managing digital initiatives and will collaborate with a team of product managers, engineers, designers, UX researchers, and data analysts to drive our key goals.

Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the Account Services Alerts & Settings product strategy and execution of the roadmap and feature deliverables.
- Translate the product roadmap into well-defined product requirements/user stories and acceptance test criteria.
- Feed the product backlog, ensuring our Engineering partners have requirements and details to interpret user stories and success criteria.
- Author and maintain business rules documentation of digital features and refine with engineering team.
- Partner with cross-channel colleagues to ensure synergies and a cohesive digital customer experience across markets globally.
- Leverage data and analytics (qualitative + quantitative) to drive informed decisions, experimentation, and product strategy.
- Support prioritization and development of new features and capabilities in partnership with our Engineering, Design, Research, Compliance, Legal and Fraud teams.
- Leverage user feedback tools to identify user pain points in existing journeys, then translate them into actionable enhancements to the product.
- Liaise with the Servicing and Governance Controls teams as required on new capabilities and channel transformation.
- Be part of a collaborative, outcome-driven agile team to build, execute, innovate, and manage digital features and capabilities for American Express Card Members.
- Perform/assist QA activities in feature launches, ensuring timely reporting and resolution of bugs.
- Work creatively to overcome challenges and blockers that create risks to a planned delivery schedule.
Minimum Qualifications
- Ability to communicate timely with effectiveness and empathy with multiple stakeholders and partners.
- Enthusiasm and passion for great products and demonstrated customer focus.
- Analytically savvy – leveraging both quantitative and qualitative insights to drive outcome-driven product decisions.
- Pro-active and enthusiastic, displaying curiosity about the why and how to bring clarity to seemingly complex problems.
- Experience with building PowerPoint documents and presenting to various levels of leadership.
- Collaborative – our role is largely partnership driven, so experience building and managing solid relationships is crucial as you will be working with Product/Capability owners, marketing teams & technology partners.
- Strategic thinking – Ability to see both the big picture and the details to translate business requirements into actionable features and delivery plan.
- Detail-oriented – Active involvement in backlog development requires a process-driven mindset with strong attention to detail and ability to manage an environment with changing priorities.
- Ability to take initiative and work within ambiguous situations.
- Comfortable within the JIRA and Confluence space, or a proven ability to learn new tools and perform effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience within relevant digital experiences and managing multiple stakeholders.
- Experience in understanding basic technology frameworks and E2E data flows, or the willingness to learn.
- Experience in leading multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Knowledge of analytical applications like Adobe Analytics a plus.
Salary Range: $89,250.00 to $150,250.00 annually + bonus + benefits
