This is a remote role; however, we only operate in the following states: AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, IN, MI, MN, NJ, NY, NC, OH, PA, SC, TX, VA, and WI.

JOB SUMMARY

Partner with our benefits team in evaluating, designing, and implementing benefits solutions for healthcare and not-for-profit clients across executive, physician, and employee workforces. Support client engagements by conducting data analysis, research, and project coordination while delivering high-quality client service.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Assist in analytical aspects of benefits engagements, working with senior team members to ensure high-quality deliverables and adherence to project budgets and timelines.
  • Conduct research, benchmarking, and financial modeling to support benefits-related recommendations.
  • Collaborate with senior benefits consultants to develop, communicate, and implement benefits solutions for clients.
  • Prepare and analyze benefits data, assisting in developing integrated reports and client presentations.
  • Support project management efforts by tracking timelines, deliverables, and ensuring efficient coordination across teams.
  • Participate in client meetings and anticipate client needs, providing analytical insights to support decision-making.
  • Work with team members, sharing knowledge and best practices in data collection, research, and analysis.
  • Assist in developing and implementing tools, templates, and methodologies to improve efficiency and quality in client deliverables.
  • Contribute to Benefits Practice initiatives, including industry research, innovation, and process improvements.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field (required), ideally with an emphasis in finance, economics, statistics, mathematics, accounting or health care administration
  • 2-4 years of business-related experience, preferably in benefits, compensation, HR analytics, or financial modeling.
  • Solid technical knowledge and experience working with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, including the ability to:
  • Analyze and interpret complex data sets, resolve data discrepancies, and identify meaningful trends.
  • Develop conclusions from analyses and contribute to client solutions.
  • Anticipate challenges, identify alternate solutions, and problem-solve effectively.
  • Understanding of relevant benefits laws and regulations affecting health care and not-for-profit clients.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to:
  • Clearly present data-driven insights to internal teams and clients.
  • Tailor communications to different audiences and effectively articulate recommendations.
  • Write concise project communications, documents, and presentations with the appropriate level of technical detail.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Team-oriented mindset with an enthusiasm for learning and professional growth.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within a consulting, compensation or health care-related firm preferred

Remote or hybrid work settings. Must be physically able to perform the essential functions of the job.

Reflected below is the base salary range offered for this position. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors including but not limited to academic achievements, skills and experience. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

  • $77,700 - $116,500 annually
