Position Overview
Lindsay Corporation is expanding its Infrastructure footprint in North Europe and is seeking a highly driven Senior Business Development & Regional Sales Manager. In this role, you will lead market growth across the region, managing both distributors and end customers while driving adoption of Lindsay’s full Infrastructure portfolio, including Road Safety Products, Road Marking Solutions, and the Road Zipper Program.
This senior commercial role combines strategic business development, key account leadership, and distributor management, requiring someone who thrives in long-cycle, consultative sales environments and can independently deliver strong commercial outcomes.
You will work remotely, independently, and in close collaboration with our global teams, playing a strategic role in developing long-cycle opportunities and shaping the future of roadway safety and mobility across the region. This role also includes a company car, laptop and cell phone.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial & Market Development
- Identify, develop, and close opportunities across North Europe for the entire infrastructure portfolio, with clear accountability for revenue, margin, and territory performance.
- Expand and manage relationships with distributors, road authorities, government agencies, contractors, and engineering firms.
- Grow product demand by increasing market awareness and securing product specifications within authorities, consultants, and large contractors.
- Lead long‑lead, multimillion‑dollar sales cycles and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely progress through all phases.
Customer & Channel Management
- Develop, maintain, and expand relationships with distributors and key end customers—prioritizing satisfaction, long‑term partnership, and pipeline growth.
- Provide technical and commercial support to channel partners to ensure correct positioning of Lindsay products and adherence to safety and technical standards.
- Conduct regular customer visits, site evaluations, and training sessions for distributors, contractors, and authorities.
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and regulatory frameworks to support strategy development and opportunity prioritization.
- Contribute to product/solution improvement initiatives and provide feedback to engineering and product teams.
- Participate in industry associations, conferences, and events to build brand presence and maintain thought leadership.
Operational Excellence
- Maintain accurate CRM inputs, forecasting, and reporting—supporting data‑driven decision‑making.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Technical Sales, Engineering, Operations, Field Services) within Lindsay’s One Lindsay culture.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, safety requirements, quality expectations, and project execution protocols.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in the infrastructure, transportation, road safety, or construction technology industry.
- 10+ years of commercial experience in business development, regional sales, or key account management.
- Strong background engaging road authorities, DOTs, engineering firms, contractors, and public-sector stakeholders.
- Proven track record managing distributors and developing markets in Europe.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (advanced degree is a plus).
- Languages: English required; additional European languages a plus (German, Dutch, Polish, Scandinavian, etc.)
