Location:US or UK - flexible home basePosition Status:Regular, Full Time, ExemptSalary:
- US: Starting salary for this role will be from $90,000 USD to $110,000 USD annually- commensurate with experience.
- UK: Starting salary will be from 63,840 - commensurate with experience

- Develop, test and document stored procedures, views, tables, indexes, constraints, functions and T-SQL scripts.
- Prepare clear and comprehensive technical documentation
- Work regularly with the Director of Fundraising Data & Analytics and team members to identify new reports and updates, to existing ones, clearly communicate requirements and changes, and design, test, and validate report outputs.
- Create scheduled andon-demandreports foraself-service environment, support legacy MDX whilefocusingnewdevelopmentonPowerBI tabular models and DAX.
- Expand, assess, andmaintainthe SQL Server data warehouse and SSIS-based ETL processes, including improving performance, streamlining legacy workflows, and strengthening documentation
- Work closely with the Donor Database Manager, Online DatabaseDeveloper and Manager,and DevelopmentOperations Manager toidentifydata anomalies and broken business rulesand supportdata integrity and cleanupprocesses.
- Ensure that personally identifiable data and data analytics practices are aligned with Mercy Corps Responsible Data Policy.
- Cross-train in essential functions to ensure business continuity.
- Collaborate with the IT Department to ensure that marketing technical strategy aligns with the broader enterprise roadmap.
- Development and maintain OLAP cubes as needed.
- Other duties as requested or required.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of data warehousing, database management, reporting development, data cleansing, ETL and data analysis, preferably in a non-profit fundraising environment.
- Demonstrated success using T-SQL or MySQL to support data warehousing and reporting
- Projects, (ideally 5+ years).
- Demonstrated technical competency (ideally 3+ years) with Microsoft SQL Server 2016, including Analysis Services, Integration Services, and Reporting Services (SSAS, SSIS, SSRS) and Power BI.
- Demonstrated success (ideally 2+ years) developing customized reports in Microsoft SQL ServerReporting Services and Microsoft Power BI, including multi-dimensional reports with drill-down capability.
- Knowledge of The Raisers Edge ideal; non-profit experience preferred.
- 3+ years of experience with fundraising data or other comparably complex data.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; including the ability to communicate effectively with team members of varied work styles.
- Proven ability to handle confidential materials and sensitive information.
- Python experience is a plus.
