Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced engineer with 10+ years of expertise in managing and supporting large-scale file transfer environments. This role combines operational excellence in Unix/Linux systems with hands-on development using modern frameworks and cloud-native technologies. The ideal candidate will ensure secure, reliable data movement while driving innovation for future enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and support large-scale Unix-based file transfer environments.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across Linux systems.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline file transfer operations.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, development, and business teams to ensure seamless data integration.
  • Implement and maintain cloud-native solutions for scalable and secure file transfers.
  • Design and develop new features and enhancements using modern frameworks.
  • Maintain system documentation and ensure compliance with operational and security standards.
Technical Expertise:
  • 10+ years of experience in Unix/Linux system administration and support.
  • Strong command of Linux shell and troubleshooting tools.
  • Solid understanding of basic Windows administration tasks.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash, Perl).
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services including EKS, EC2, S3, IAM, and networking.
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments.
  • Experience with TIBCO products is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of secure file transfer protocols and best practices.
Development Skills:
  • Experience building backend services using Spring Boot.
  • Familiarity with Node.js for server-side development.
  • Proficiency in frontend frameworks such as React or Angular.
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
