American Express Travel Related Services Company, Inc. seeks Senior Data Architects to Architect internal financial system solutions. Utilize structured analysis and design to formulate plans for modules and/or enhancements in the financial planning system. Report project status and ongoing system or data issues. Perform requirements gathering related to various design concepts applying knowledge of financial models and/or financial analytics. Troubleshoot and debug analytics powered model for better user experience and data integrity for integrating with other systems.

Position requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related STEM field, and 2 years of experience with economic and financial planning, and financial risk analysis on a global scale. Experience must include 1 year of experience with each of the following: analyzing foreign exchange risk and markets drivers, as well as global and country-specific economic trends and financial risks; translating complex finance and foreign exchange concepts into actionable insights and presentations to senior leaders for decision-making; planning and driving critical projects across Finance, Treasury, Tax, and Controllership functions in local and international markets; developing complex financial analytics and financial models to discover key actionable insights using Advanced Excel and VBA; and financial systems, including Essbase, Oracle Business Intelligence, and TM1. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S.

Job Location: New York, NY

Salary Range: $118,102.00 to $190,000.00 annually
