This includes promoting data integrity and security, correcting system errors, and acting as a consultant on quality improvement projects.
- Lead the Full Technology Implementation Lifecycle: Manage cross-functional projects by developing charters, defining requirements, conducting business process analysis, executing QA and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and coordinating system modifications and builds with both internal staff and external vendors.
- Lead and Manage Business-Driven Projects: Act as the project lead for small to large-scale initiatives, utilizing project management principles (including charter development and the use of a formal toolkit) to define, monitor, and drive actions necessary for successful implementation.
- Translate and Define Technical Requirements: Serve as the crucial link between business needs and technical execution by translating project requests into clear customer requirements (using tools like Visio diagrams, use cases, and written specifications), and collaborating with stakeholders and vendors to ensure clarity on system capabilities, limitations, and expectations.
- Build and Maintain Comprehensive Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of the Health Department's core functions (like medical home models and accounts receivable) and how the clinical systems' functionality, connectivity, and tools are utilized to successfully support these critical business practices.
