Pay Range

$79,400.00-$109,100.00 Annual

This is the base salary pay range that an applicant can expect to make upon hire. Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors. In addition, this position is eligible for an incentive bonus.

The purpose of the Senior Financial Analyst's role is to provide commercial financial analysis and support product management and sales, while working closely with customer service, financial planning and analysis, operations finance, and business leadership. The role will plan, execute, measure, and help optimize the performance of multiple market portfolios. It will also support annual strategic and operating plan requirements while providing specific support to assigned functions and businesses.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Responsible for complex profit margin and pricing analysis.
  • Partner with commercial business leaders by identifying and communicating opportunities and risks within the business portfolio.
  • Lead the monthly forecasting, annual budgeting and long-term strategic planning processes for the assigned market portfolio.
  • Responsible for the monthly financial report out of assigned market portfolio.
  • Initiate process improvements and drive to successful implementation.
  • Responsible for calculation, communication, and execution of sales compensation plans.
  • Responsible for preparing month end journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Provide pricing analytic tools to understand pricing strategies and the financial impacts to the business.
  • Demonstrated analytical ability, critical thinking and disciplined problem-solving skills essential.
  • Ensure data integrity of monthly commercial numbers. Identify any issues when they occur, work with the appropriate stakeholders, and correct promptly.
  • May be required to perform other related duties as assigned.

What You Bring to the Team:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • 6 years finance and accounting experience
  • Finance commercial experience preferred. Sales and profitability analysis.
  • Working knowledge of SAP or ERP systems
  • Proven ability to effectively influence others at various levels of the organization
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated experience interpreting results and drawing conclusions with ability to summarize complex concepts into presentation materials
  • Strong decision support and modeling skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (preparing and/or presenting presentations as needed)
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Ability to work with multiple projects simultaneously
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to interface at all levels of the organization, both internally and externally
  • Minimal travel required (0 - 10 days per year)
  • Work environment is typical of an office setting. This position is based at the company’s headquarters in downtown Denver. This position is eligible for a flexible work arrangement in which, by way of example, an employee's work week may include both some days at the employee's assigned company work location and some workdays performed remotely from the employee's home. The schedule of remote work will be based on business and work needs as determined by management.
