Description:

The Senior Financial Analyst supports financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities for government contracting programs. This role is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, indirect rate analysis, and providing financial insights that support business decisions and program performance. The ideal candidate has strong GovCon experience, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to collaborate across finance and program teams. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage consolidated company-wide budgets and forecasts
  • Perform indirect rate analysis and support rate development and monitoring
  • Analyze financial performance and provide variance analysis and recommendations
  • Support leadership with financial reporting and cost analysis
  • Develop and maintain financial models using advanced MS Excel functionality
  • Ensure compliance with government contracting regulations and internal financial policies
  • Assist with month-end and year-end financial close activities as needed
  • Support audits and respond to financial data requests
  • Utilize JAMIS or similar GovCon financial systems to support reporting and analysis
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Government Contracting (GovCon) financial analysis
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and financial modeling
  • Experience with budgeting and forecasting in a GovCon environment
  • Demonstrated experience performing indirect rate analysis
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
  • Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment

Preferred

  • Experience using JAMIS financial management system
  • Experience supporting multiple contract types (e.g., cost-reimbursable, T&M, fixed price)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
