This position is responsible for providing advanced technical support to University executive offices, ensuring seamless operation across a mixed environment of Apple and Windows devices. A strong emphasis is placed on Apple hardware and mobile device support, including iOS configuration, troubleshooting, and integration with enterprise systems. Job Summary

Diagnose and resolves complex computing issues and provides expert-level technical support. Configures end user devices. Handles escalated issues from junior staff and trains junior staff.


Essential Functions

This position is responsible for maintaining/configuring computing equipment located in multiple locations. This position requires extensive knowledge of operating systems and networking technology. Must be able to function with standard PC and Mac equipment located throughout the University as well as telephony systems and software applications. Written and verbal communication. Interpersonal relations. Analyzing and organizing information. Planning technology roadmap for area supported. Proficient knowledge of IT.


Physical Effort

Involves frequent travel between buildings on campus for meetings/ events and satellite locations supported. Individual will be responsible for installation of office systems as well as on-going troubleshooting. Will also conduct training presentations. Will involve lifting and carrying equipment up to 50 lbs. Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.
