Key Responsibilities
Architecture
- Define and design a commercialization-focused information and data strategy, and end-to-end technology/data solutions that align business objectives and requirements.
- Develop architectural frameworks, standards, and best practices to ensure consistency and scalability across projects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and vendors, to gather requirements and translate them into technical/data solutions.
- Design and maintain the target information architecture and roadmap for Commercialization.
- Establish and enforce data architecture principles, guidelines, and standards tailored to commercialization needs.
- Lead decisions on data flows, conceptual models, ontologies, taxonomies, and hierarchies to optimize the Commercialization data supply chain in partnership with IT and functional teams.
- Ensure IT Delivery Teams understand and implement the target information and data architecture.
- Represent Commercialization Information Architecture in cross-functional forums, including Architecture Forums and Data Governance Councils.
- Champion data security and responsible information usage within architecture.
- Maintain source-to-target mappings as required.
- Assess emerging data, analytics, and reporting technologies; coordinate proof-of-concept initiatives with build teams.
- Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, platforms, and tools to support solution delivery.
- Oversee the integration of systems, data flows, and processes to ensure seamless interoperability.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development and implementation teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure solutions adhere to security, compliance, and regulatory and data privacy standards.
- Document architecture designs, decisions, and rationale for future reference and knowledge sharing.
- Continuously assess emerging technologies and trends to recommend innovative solutions that drive business value.
- Troubleshoot and resolve architectural issues, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Analyst
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable technical specifications.
- Facilitate communication between business units and IT teams to ensure alignment on project objectives.
- Evaluate existing business processes and recommend improvements for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain process models, workflows, and use cases.
- Support solution design by validating requirements and ensuring they are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct gap analysis and identify opportunities for process optimization.
- Assist in user acceptance testing and ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Prepare and deliver reports, presentations, and documentation for stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress and support change management activities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Possesses advanced expertise in own function and solid understanding of related functions, typically acquired through a university degree and 5+ years of experience.
- Independently leads initiatives focused on continuous improvement and technology implementation.
- Builds and leverages relationships across the organization with diplomacy and influence.
- Communicates complex information clearly and effectively at all levels; demonstrates deep subject matter expertise to establish credibility for self and team.
- Contributes to decision-making by offering diverse perspectives on achieving team objectives.
- Seeks challenging opportunities to strengthen capabilities and actively coaches others to do the same.
- Drives process, structural, and knowledge improvements; analyzes current state, provides actionable recommendations, and executes complex solutions to completion.
- Anticipates internal and external challenges impacting future success; ensures quality and accuracy of deliverables, taking corrective action when needed.
- Applies advanced analytical skills to synthesize data, identify patterns, and assess broader implications; incorporates lessons learned and best practices to enhance team knowledge.
- Experience in working with data pipeline development, data lake design, storage & management, Databricks is plus

Compensation Overview:
Princeton - NJ - US: $134,980 - $163,564 
The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employee’s work schedule, job-related knowledge, and experience. Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.

Paid Time Off
- US Exempt Employees: flexible time off (unlimited, with manager approval, 11 paid national holidays (not applicable to employees in Phoenix, AZ, Puerto Rico or Rayzebio employees)
- Phoenix, AZ, Puerto Rico and Rayzebio Exempt, Non-Exempt, Hourly Employees: 160 hours annual paid vacation for new hires with manager approval, 11 national holidays, and 3 optional holidays
Based on eligibility*, additional time off for employees may include unlimited paid sick time, up to 2 paid volunteer days per year, summer hours flexibility, leaves of absence for medical, personal, parental, caregiver, bereavement, and military needs and an annual Global Shutdown between Christmas and New Years Day.
All global employees full and part-time who are actively employed at and paid directly by BMS at the end of the calendar year are eligible to take advantage of the Global Shutdown.
*Eligibility Disclosure: The summer hours program is for United States (U.S.) office-based employees due to the unique nature of their work. Summer hours are generally not available for field sales and manufacturing operations and may also be limited for the capability centers. Employees in remote-by-design or lab-based roles may be eligible for summer hours, depending on the nature of their work, and should discuss eligibility with their manager. Employees covered under a collective bargaining agreement should consult that document to determine if they are eligible. Contractors, leased workers and other service providers are not eligible to participate in the program.
