POSITION SUMMARY & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Engage our Managing Partner Conference guests with a once-in-a-lifetime experience that is both educational and inspiring. This position acts independently to set strategy, plan and execute the following:

  • Plan and execute annual Managing Partner Conference overseeing a staff of 40+ internal staff members and additionally, up to 40+ external support team members.
  • Advises Leadership Team in the development and promotion of Texas Roadhouse Conference, strategies, production and timelines.
  • Negotiation of contracts for Texas Roadhouse Managing Partner Conference, and support in other event contracts.
  • Developing, managing, and executing the Conference budget of $10,000,000+.
  • Managing Partner Conference entails over 2400 attendees, over 65 separate events over the course of 7 days. Event planning responsibilities include (but are not limited to) establishing a conference theme, negotiating all related contracts, sourcing talent, hiring production, coordinating all food and beverage/catering, selecting and designing décor, designing staging and production, identifying and creating a partnership for Humanitarian Project, & developing and implementing conference websites and communication strategies,
  • Conduct surveys and focus groups on events and recognition activities.
  • Research technology trends at conferences and events and seek to innovate routinely.
  • Manage areas of responsibility and successfully deliver the completed project, executing all aspects of financial controls and expenditures on time and within budget.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Education: BA degree in business, finance, communication or related field.
Experience: Minimum of 7 yrs. experience in project management, marketing and large-scale events such as meetings and conferences. Experience in contract negotiation is strongly preferred.
Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
