Job Description

To maintain success, optimizing the colleague sales experience is critical for the organization to continue to drive growth and sales effectiveness. The Sales Enablement, Pricing and Transformation (SPT) team is a core facilitator in cultivating a strong sales experience from front to back office. This role will report to the Director, Tools Strategy, and this team is responsible for defining and operationalizing the strategy and execution model for GCS’s sales tools and AI-driven workflows, enabling a unified, data-driven seller experience across the sales journey.

The Senior Manager, Sales Tools Strategy will be responsible for evaluating the current state anddefining the future of the sales colleague tool strategy, operationalizing roadmaps built. This will include building the analytical framework to drive decision making, conducting the internal and external analyses required to align on new tool / AI workflow integration plans, and lead the end-to-end execution and enablement of these plans across the GCS organization. Working across Sales, Marketing, Analytics, Technology, and Enterprise platforms, this role will support the development and execution of the future-state seller experience, helping reduce workflow friction, improve adoption of key capabilities, and accelerate the integration of Gen AI into sales processes.

Responsibilities

  • Own the ongoing assessment of the existing sales tools experience and workflows, identifying key pain points, friction areas, and opportunities to consider evolving the sales experience
  • Shape the sales tools, workflow automation, and Gen AI strategy by translating business priorities and seller needs into future-state capabilities and investment recommendations.
  • Translate data insights and seller feedback into recommendations that improve workflow design, prioritization, and investment decisions
  • Partner with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Analytics, Technology, and Enterprise CRM teams to define business requirements, prioritize enhancements, and drive delivery of sales capabilities through test and learn environments
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities that enhance sales effectiveness and improve the seller experience from an ‘outside in’ view
  • Develop success metrics and use case performance measurement to assess the impact of tools and AI-enabled capabilities on an ongoing basis
  • Partner with change management and field leadership teams to drive adoption of new tools, workflows, and operating models.
  • Drive governance, prioritization, and investment processes across the sales tools ecosystem, balancing business demand, platform strategy, and enterprise objectives

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives and analyses
  • Strong understanding of sales motions, seller workflows, customer acquisition and relationship management practices
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment with competing priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels
  • Experience developing business requirements, prioritization frameworks, roadmaps, and success metrics
  • Familiarity with Gen AI, workflow automation, CRM platforms, and emerging sales technologies, with the ability to evaluate capabilities and translate them into business value
  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience doing so within sales enablement, sales operations, product management, digital transformation, or related disciplines
  • Experience in strategy, management consulting, business transformation, product strategy, or related disciplines
