Senior Manager – TA Operations - Corrective Processing

Jersey City, NJ

The Role:

Fidelity Stock Transfer is looking for a Senior Manager to be part of our next-generation transfer agent operations team. In your capacity, you will manage and provide oversight to the daily functions of corrective processing, cost basis and control books. You will ensure customer satisfaction and associate engagement by providing leadership and direction to transfer agent operations associates while at the same time effectively managing risk. You will lead the identification and resolution of operational improvements with the goal of delivering business results. As a transfer agent team lead, you will be part of a cross-functional team helping to map out existing operational processes, articulate customer pain points, identify best practices and together, imagine new ways to manage registered securities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage transfer agent operations workflows

  • Review, process and provide oversight to customer corrective transactions, control books reconciliation and cost basis inquiries and corrections including but not limited to escalations

  • Provide associate coaching and act as a resource for day to day activities

  • Comply with all policies and procedures related to all aspects of TA Operations

  • Ensure quality standards are enforced, met and compliant with regulatory mandates

  • Ensure all key daily duties are performed timely and accurately

  • Collaborate with aligning business partners to develop and create written procedures

  • Ensure all procedures are updated to mitigate process risks

  • Demonstrate a collaborative mindset aligned with process improvement, efficiencies and risk mitigation

  • Actively participate in architectural system design with product, technical and operations teams to ensure proper system build satisfying TA needs

  • Collaborate and influence outcomes in a large matrix-managed environment and across multiple and diverse groups

  • Support and lead business initiatives and special projects

  • Liaise with others to implement corporate strategy

  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders for audit preparations

  • Cross train as needed

  • Proficiency with transfer agent functions such as corrective processing, control books and cost basis would be an asset

  • College Degree required and/or 7+ years experience in Financial Services or Transfer Agent Operations with management or supervisory experience

  • Strong knowledge of transfer agent operational processes, project management and SEC regulations

  • Proficient in Microsoft office Word, Excel and other basic knowledge of other products within suite

  • Effective written, verbal and listening skills

The base salary range for this position is $79,000-153,000 USD per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
