The WW Commercialization Skills Development Team is the driving force behind empowering our Commercialization teams with the functional, and/or specialized skills needed to optimize long-term success for the BMS portfolio of products. As the Senior Manager, WW Commercialization Skills Development, you will collaborate with a dedicated team committed to advancing learning and shaping the future of skills training across Commercialization, inclusive of CASA (Commercialization AI Strategy & Analytics), Commercial and 3M (Medical, Marketing & Market Access) functions

What we are looking for:

The WW Commercialization Skills Team is currently seeking a talented learning professional who is passionate about developing high-impact learning solutions. The Senior Manager role is a home-office based position within PPK or Uxbridge locations. The Senior Manager, WW Commercialization Field Platforms & AI Adoption is the primary execution lead for field-facing capability programs, that sit at the intersection of enterprise platforms, AI adoption, and scalable learning enablement. This role translates the team's strategic vision into high-impact, AI-enabled capability solutions that fundamentally rewire how Commercial and Medical field teams operate, engage with platforms, and build skills.

This role is the day-to-day execution interlock with LEAP (Learning Excellence & Advancement Partner), driving seamless, scalable delivery across the content development and learning logistics pipeline It owns the rhythm that connects platform adoption priorities, CRM, and CASA-aligned AI tools to field-ready capability programs deployed consistently across global markets. The role is a critical delivery engine within the WW Commercialization Platforms & Field Capability team.

Who you will work with:

Reporting directly to the Director, Worldwide Commercialization Skills with a dotted line to the Associate Director, WW Commercialization Platform Skills Development, this role partners with:

  • LEAP - primary execution interlock for content development and learning logistics
  • WW Commercialization Skills Team and COE peers - to align capability design with enterprise skills frameworks and platform strategy
  • IT, US/International Commercialization, WW Medical Learning, and In-Market/BU teams - to integrate field capability with platform roadmaps and business objectives
  • Veeva platform Capability leads - to align training support with platform release cycles, system enhancements, and adoption milestones
  • CASA - to align field AI-rewiring priorities with capability delivery
  • Enterprise Learning and MyLearning platform teams - to ensure program deployment, learner journey design, and adoption tracking are optimized
  • External vendors and supplier partners - managed within approved parameters for quality and delivery accountability

Primary responsibilities:

Demand Management & LEAP Execution Interlock

  • Manage day-to-day intake and execution of approved field capability learning work, ensuring activities are scoped, resourced, and sequenced for delivery
  • Serve as primary execution interlock with LEAP, providing business requirements, SME nominations, design inputs, review cycles, and delivery readiness confirmations in line with LEAP governance standards
  • Translate priorities into clear, actionable briefs for LEAP and vendor partners
  • Monitor delivery progress; proactively identify risks and escalate prioritization conflicts or delivery issues with structured context and recommended options
  • Maintain an operational view of the active demand pipeline to support the Skills development team’s portfolio, reporting and governance

CASA Partnership & AI-Enabled Field Capability

  • Act as the capability execution partner to CASA, working closely with CASA leaders to translate AI products, analytics insights, field intelligence tools, and commercialization AI priorities into role-based learning programs, skills pathways, and field-ready resources
  • Champion and operationalize CASA-aligned AI tools within field capability delivery, including AI-assisted content creation, rapid prototyping, smart content curation, and intelligent automation, accelerating deployment while maintaining quality and compliance standards
  • Partner with Enterprise Learning to identify, evaluate, and pilot CASA-informed AI-powered learning technologies (e.g., intelligent coaching tools, AI role-play and simulation platforms, adaptive learning engines); bring evidence-based scale recommendations to your manager
  • Partner with LEAP to embed CASA-approved AI-driven development practices across the shared content production lifecycle, ensuring AI efficiencies are realized end-to-end
  • Actively benchmark emerging AI and learning technology trends; surface recommendations to ensure the team's approach remains at the forefront of modern field capability design

MyLearning Adoption & Platform Excellence

  • Champion MyLearning as the enterprise learning platform for Commercial and Medical field populations, driving strong adoption, sustained engagement, and a consistently high-quality learner experience across global markets
  • Partner with Enterprise Learning and MyLearning platform teams to ensure field capability content meets platform standards, is correctly catalogued, and fully leverages available functionality
  • Track and analyze MyLearning adoption metrics, including completion rates, engagement patterns, and learner feedback, using data to identify adoption barriers, drive continuous improvement, and report progress to your manager
  • Contribute to the evolution of MyLearning as a strategic field performance tool, identifying opportunities to integrate CASA analytics, AI-powered recommendations, and personalized learning pathways within the platform

Learning Development & Delivery

  • Lead tactical development of learner-centric field programs and pathways integrating new technologies, tools, and workflow enhancements
  • Collaborate with LEAP across the full content lifecycle, scoping, design, production, review, and deployment, ensuring quality, timeliness, and learner experience standards are met
  • Develop and sustain onboarding and ongoing capability pathways for Commercial and Medical field roles, aligned to the WW skills framework and platform adoption milestones
  • Lead ongoing sustainment and update cycles in response to technology evolution and market feedback
  • Use learner analytics and performance data to refine programs and surface strategic insights to the Director

Stakeholder Coordination & Compliance

  • Act as strategic partner to IT, BU, In-Market, LEAP, and regional teams, ensuring learning integrates effectively with business objectives and technology evolution
  • Build and maintain productive SME relationships across Commercial and Medical functions, ensuring content accuracy and timely review cycles
  • Manage LEAP and external vendor relationships within approved parameters, holding partners accountable for quality and delivery
  • Oversee compliance, legal, and medical review workflows; co-ordinate localization and version control across global markets

Qualifications:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; Project Management certification preferred
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Learning & Development, Field Capability, or Commercial Capability Development within pharma/life sciences

Technical & Functional Skills

  • Hands-on experience with AI tools for content development (authoring, generation, workflow automation) with demonstrated curiosity and drive to push boundaries
  • Strong instructional design knowledge; proven ability to translate complex workflows and CASA-derived insights into high-impact, accessible learning content
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, eLearning authoring tools, and LMS platforms, particularly MyLearning/SuccessFactors, including content deployment, learner journey configuration, and adoption reporting
  • Familiarity with AI-enhanced learning platforms, adaptive learning engines, or intelligent coaching tools preferred
  • Experience managing LEAP-style delivery partnerships or equivalent strategic content development relationships
  • Data-literate with experience using learner analytics and platform adoption data to drive programme decisions and continuous improvement
  • Familiarity with compliance and approval workflows in pharma

Compensation Overview:

Princeton - NJ - US: $148,750 - $180,250 


The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employee’s work schedule, job-related knowledge, and experience. Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.

Paid Time Off

  • US Exempt Employees: flexible time off (unlimited, with manager approval, 11 paid national holidays (not applicable to employees in Phoenix, AZ, Puerto Rico or Rayzebio employees)
  • Phoenix, AZ, Puerto Rico and Rayzebio Exempt, Non-Exempt, Hourly Employees: 160 hours annual paid vacation for new hires with manager approval, 11 national holidays, and 3 optional holidays

Based on eligibility*, additional time off for employees may include unlimited paid sick time, up to 2 paid volunteer days per year, summer hours flexibility, leaves of absence for medical, personal, parental, caregiver, bereavement, and military needs and an annual Global Shutdown between Christmas and New Years Day.

All global employees full and part-time who are actively employed at and paid directly by BMS at the end of the calendar year are eligible to take advantage of the Global Shutdown.

*Eligibility Disclosure: The summer hours program is for United States (U.S.) office-based employees due to the unique nature of their work. Summer hours are generally not available for field sales and manufacturing operations and may also be limited for the capability centers. Employees in remote-by-design or lab-based roles may be eligible for summer hours, depending on the nature of their work, and should discuss eligibility with their manager. Employees covered under a collective bargaining agreement should consult that document to determine if they are eligible. Contractors, leased workers and other service providers are not eligible to participate in the program.
