Responsibilities

Mythics seeks an experienced Senior PeopleSoft Solution Architect with Techofunctional experience in both HCM and FSCM pillars to join our practice. This is a lead role focused on implementing applications and working closely with our customers. Candidate must be proficient in solution design, business process analysis, configuration, testing and system integration.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the solution design and implementation aspects of engagements, ensuring high-quality, integrated software solutions within time and budget constraints.
  • Re-architecting legacy processes into modern, Fluid-driven workflows/user interfaces and overseeing our transition toward a Cloud-Native/OCI posture.
  • Work with Project Management in the creation of Project Plans, Timelines, and Work Breakdown Structures.
  • Assist the technical team with system design and configuration. Design robust REST/SOAP integrations via Integration Broker, guide customers on PUM/ continuous improvement initiatives and OCI Cloud/Lift & Shift strategies.
  • Actively participate, along with functional team members, in Discovery and Design Review sessions with end-users. Provide handson functional and technofunctional guidance to delivery teams.
  • Assist in the design of software customizations, reports, and integrations, especially those that involve multiple PeopleSoft applications or non-PeopleSoft systems. Drive integrations, reporting strategy, and performance optimization.
  • Supervise the preparation and execution of Test Plans to ensure that testing plans are comprehensively designed and properly executed through all test phases including Conference Room Pilot, System Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing.
  • Review and edit project documentation including Requirements Documents, Functional and Technical Design Documents, Configuration Workbooks, and Training Materials to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Collaborate with clients on business process enhancements, partner with business and IT stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
  • Identify, assess, and solve complex business problems for area of responsibility, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
  • Demonstrate experience as a senior resource in helping to define systems strategy, gathering and documenting business requirements, fit-gap analysis, as-is and to-be business process designs, functional configuration, testing, and client user training.
  • Work independently and manage multiple task assignments within a structured implementation methodology.
  • Interact with senior management on matters where they may need to gain acceptance on an alternate approach.
  • Be an active member of the overall project management team, participating in maintenance of RAID logs, RICEW worksheets, Project Plans, Budgets, and other project management materials.

Qualifications

  • Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust
    Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of experience implementing and supporting PeopleSoft FSCM and HCM modules
  • Experience working with PeopleSoft 9.2, including features such as Fluid Interface, WorkCenters, Workflow, Page and Field Configurator, Activity Guides, and other features in newer releases
  • Experience implementing applications for Federal clients (preferred)
  • Ability and willingness to participate in limited travel
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Strong functional understanding of core PeopleSoft Financial and HCM modules
  • Familiarity with PeopleSoft development tools, including:
    • Application Designer
    • Integration Broker
    • BI Publisher
    • Structured Query Language (SQL)
  • Basic understanding of PeopleSoft PIA and network configurations
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including:
    • Presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)
    • Project management skills (MS Project)
  • Ability to interact with technical staff, business end-users, and C-level executives
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to exercise mature judgment
  • Experience mentoring junior staff
