Job Description:

The Role

Reporting to the Senior Pricing Manager, the Pricing Representative ensures the quality of security prices through analysis and judgement in order to produce and release accurate, timely fund NAVs to Fidelity shareholders.

  • You have organizational and time management skills that will allow us to account for our security prices in a tight deadline orientated environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and interact in a professional manner with several internal and external clients in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Your attention to detail will be key in helping you problem-solve and validate impacts to mutual funds.
  • Ability to research is critical as you will have to communicate with business partners and use internal systems to prevent and/or correct issues.
  • Team-oriented attitude is critical as we work with team members to provide proper security valuation.
  • Strong computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (such as Word or Excel – VBA coding knowledge a plus), and the ability to train on and work with different operating systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Recognize high-risk items and escalate those items or seek assistance to minimize loss to either the shareholder or Fidelity.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in business-related field (Accounting or Finance) preferred
  • One year of financial services experience preferred
  • Pricing or mutual fund experience a plus
  • Equity, Fixed Income, and Derivate knowledge a plus

The Team

The Pricing Representative within the Pricing and Valuation group prepares and reviews pricing for multiple assets; equity, fixed income, and derivatives. The Pricing Representative ensures quality and reliability of security prices through strong operational expertise and high attention to detail to produce accurate and timely NAVs for multiple clients and product types.

Most roles at Fidelity are Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office. This does not apply to Remote or fully Onsite roles.
