
Senior Representative, FED Brokerage Operations

The Role
The Senior Representative, Brokerage Operations will be expected to deliver world class service to internal and external clients by settling their trade and transfer obligations timely and accurately while adhering to policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
The associate will utilize internal as well as external systems and partner with various departments to settle FED related transactions.
Responsibilities will include reviewing and processing exceptions and other tasks associated with FED Settlements.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- College degree preferred
- Tenured settlement experience in brokerage operations required
- Knowledge of FED settlement systems (Bank of New York BDC, JP Morgan, CITI Bank)
- Understanding of industry regulations
- Attention to details while being efficient and effective
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external business partner
- Highly motivated with the ability complete assigned tasks in a timely and accurate manner
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

The Team
The Operations & Services Group (OSG) provides superior customer service to Fidelity’s brokerage businesses through innovation, dedication, and commitment to excellence. With seven operating divisions located throughout the country, OSG provides securities execution, clearance, and information management services to retail, institutional, and correspondent clients. OSG manages tens of thousands of daily Federal Reserve settlement activities, including settling U.S. Treasuries, mortgage-backed securities, and other FED-eligible securities. OSG has a need for a Brokerage Operations Representative in FED Settlements. The FED Settlements team exists to ensure FED Settlements related transaction exceptions are resolved in a timely manner. Resolution of exceptions ensures transaction completion for our clients. Our stakeholders are our internal and external business partners, and, ultimately, Fidelity’s clients.

Brokerage OperationsMost roles at Fidelity are Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office. This does not apply to Remote or fully Onsite roles.
