Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) is currently seeking a talented professional for the role of a Senior Specialist - ReStore Expertise Hub. Habitat ReStores play an integral part in Habitat for Humanity's mission, bringing financial support to over 500 US affiliates and offering a unique opportunity for various audiences to experience and interact with the affiliated network. Habitat for Humanity International's U.S. Expertise Hubs are teams of subject matter experts and collaborative thought partners that – in partnership with local affiliate staff and leaders from across the country – create, connect and curate resources, trainings, and promising practices along dedicated practice areas in support of capability building within the U.S. affiliated network. The ReStore Expertise Hub offers high-quality products and services to support the operation and management of Habitat ReStores.

The Sr. Specialist, ReStore Expertise Hub will manage and support the development, delivery, and socialization of new and refreshed resource content, services, and support within the ReStore Expertise Hub to enhance operation and management efforts of affiliate Habitat ReStores across the United States. The role supports the thoughtful and intentional curation of existing content/expertise from both the Habitat community and external partnerships to advance promising practices. The role collaborates closely with HFHI affiliate-facing learning professionals to ensure that content is packaged and delivered in the most accessible and useful way to be relevant and accessible to Habitat's diverse network.

This position will be remotely based within the US.
Key Responsibilities:

Product and Services Development, Delivery, and Evaluation:

- Serve as project lead and/or active contributor to develop, design, deliver, and measure quality, relevant, and timely content, products, and services associated with hub topic areas (e.g., templates, how-to documents, webinars, peer connection opportunities, and other learning/training experiences).
Bring all projects to successful closure through hands-on project management, collaboration with internal and external partners, and adhering to hub quality standards, SOPs, organizational tools, evaluation methodologies, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Design and deliver, through appropriate project management, Communities of Practice, Peer Connection Chats, webinars, and other training/interaction approaches with the affiliated network (e.g., aggregating content, planning webinar calendar, coordinating, facilitation, etc.).

Collaboration and Project Management:

- Collaborate across applicable HFHI departments, including affiliate learning consultants, to ensure that resource content and support align with best practices, mission, values, and guiding principles.
- Work within established project management protocols and collaboratively with the Expertise Hub data team, to support successful release of the Annual ReStore Report by providing support at key milestones during process, acting as a thrift/retail/ReStore network subject matter expert and adding context during all relevant stages of the report preparation, analysis, and publication stages.
- Identify and curate excellent examples from the affiliate and Affiliate Support Organization (ASO) community to annotate and share out.

Network Outreach, Engagement, and General/SME Support:

- Engage and support the affiliated network with excellence; stay informed and up to date on affiliate needs; support the hub's marketing/communications/outreach efforts; and deliver quality service.
- Provide high-quality service and support to the affiliated Habitat in answering questions and inquiries on relevant hub topics.

Knowledge of Retail Trends:

- Maintain knowledge of recent retail and thrift sector trends, risks, and opportunities to aid content development to support US affiliate network.
- Support marketing, communications, and engagement efforts of the hub (e.g., working with communications, MyHabitat, ASO team, Affiliate Support Center) to keep Expertise Hub as a top-of-mind resource for affiliate leaders.
- Support Viva Engage communities by identifying common issues and needs, integrating these findings into products and services, and sparking conversation and engagement with the community as appropriate.

Metrics and Goals:

- Complete annual goals connected to Expertise Hubs and division objectives.
- Complete annual network engagement/customer service metrics.
- Complete annual quality and satisfaction metrics.
- Active demonstration of living out HFHI’s core values and being an active, cooperative team member.
Key Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- 3-5 years of proven experience in one or more retail areas, such as budgeting, business strategy, and data analysis.
- Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights related to market trends and research.
- Experience coordinating and facilitating basic training, webinars, team/group meetings, etc.
- Some experience developing content, products, and services for socialization.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and orchestrate effective, efficient, and dedicated workplans.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and results-driven environment.
- Solid project management skills.
- Proven ability to deliver tangible impact while handling competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Efficient time management and exceptional organizational skills.

- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and a general comfort level working with technology systems (SharePoint, webpage design and online meeting software, etc.)

The actual salary offered for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including location, internal equity and the candidate’s qualifications and professional experience. HFHI offers a competitive, comprehensive benefits package that varies by country and typically includes vacation leave, sick leave, personal days, health insurance options, retirement plan contributions and life insurance. For work locations in the US, the hiring range for this position is $66,000-$78,000.
