CALIBRE is seeking a Senior Web Developer / Engineer to support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Disposition Integration Web (DIW) program. This role is focused on maintaining and enhancing legacy ASP.NET/.NET Framework web applications with Oracle and SQL Server backends.

This is not a greenfield development role—work is primarily maintenance, troubleshooting, and targeted enhancements within an existing system.

Job Description
  • Maintain, enhance, and debug legacy ASP.NET/.NET Framework applications
  • Troubleshoot production issues and resolve defects
  • Support break/fix tickets and enhancements in an Agile/ServiceNow environment
  • Integrate applications with Oracle and SQL Server databases
  • Develop and maintain reports using SSRS
  • Support IIS and/or Apache web server environments
  • Work directly with government stakeholders to gather and refine requirements
  • Assist with system improvements, performance tuning, and integrations
  • Support documentation and user guides
  • Assist with modernization efforts (ASP.NET Core, Angular) as needed

  • Strong experience with ASP.NET and .NET Framework (must have)
  • Proficiency in C# and/or VB.NET
  • Experience maintaining legacy applications (not just building new ones)
  • Strong database experience:
    • Oracle (queries, PL/SQL, integration)
    • SQL Server (T-SQL, stored procedures)
  • Experience with IIS and/or Apache
  • Experience with SSRS
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong customer communication skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field
  • 10+ years of hands-on software development experience
  • 10+ years working with ASP.NET/.NET technologies
  • Experience in sustainment/maintenance environments
  • DoD or government experience preferred
Clearance Requirement
  • Must have an active Secret clearance (IT-II / T3) at time of submission
Certification Requirement
  • Active Security+ required (or equivalent)
  • MCSD, AWS/Azure Developer, CSD, Xamarin, or Section 508 certifications are a plus
