Position Overview:
As the Autonomous Vehicle Service Advisor, you will be primarily responsible for initiating and processing requests for repair services while providing administrative support to the Service Depot and keeping our Autonomous Vehicle Partner apprised of work progress. This individual will provide instruction, direction, and help guide the team to achieve AutoNation and the Depot’s service objectives.
What are the day-to-day responsibilities?
· Responsible for the creation of repair orders placed by our Autonomous Vehicle Partner for both warranty and billed work completed by our team of Technicians, verifying warranty coverage with our OEM Service Associates as needed.
· Document requested repairs and findings in a specialized service platform.
· Collaborating with and working alongside AutoNation associates, teammates, and our AV partner to improve processes and expedite workflow.
· Ensure the best parts options and correct labor times are used based on the approved labor/repair guide for all repair work performed at the Service Depot.
· Communicate with both OEM and Non-OEM parts providers to complete repair orders.
· Participate in Service Depot meetings to provide updates on daily performance.
· Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Company’s Vision, Mission, and Values in all interactions with customer, co-workers and suppliers.
· Adhere to all AutoNation and Autonomous Vehicle Partner company policies, procedures and safety standards.
· Understanding and following federal, state, and local regulations that affect Service Center operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA guidelines, etc.
What are the requirements for this job?
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Valid in-state driver’s license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driv ing record.
· Professional appearance and demonstrated customer service skills.
· Two + years of previous automotive industry experience preferred
· Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information.
· ASE certifications, a plus
· Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
Physical Requirements?
· Exposure to inclement weather.
· Ability to operate an automobile.
· Prolonged periods of standing, stooping and bending.

The hourly compensation for this position is between $39.00 to $45.00 based on experience.
