About the role:

To provide lead service support to Cat Lift Trucks, Mitsubishi Forklift Trucks, Jungheinrich and UniCarriers Forklifts. Position requires extensive contact with dealers and customers. Position may require up to 15% travel. Position is responsible for monitoring product health by identifying, quantifying, investigating, and analyzing quality and reliability problems being experienced by Logisnext product in the field. Position assists in coordinating with other departments to resolve problems and communicate solutions to the field. Position is instrumental in helping to control and reduce warranty costs. Mentors Service Analysts.

What you will do:

  • Provide technical support to dealer parts and service personnel, other departments within Logisnext and other Logisnext companies.
  • Conducts detailed problem analysis to resolve product problems.
  • Provides information and training to service analysts and parts analysts.
  • Monitors product health to control and help reduce warranty expense to company.
  • Maintains problem log to recognize problems and quantify same.
  • Communicates information regarding specific problems to MHI Service Engineering, MHI Design Engineering, and/or Logisnext Engineering as situation dictates.
  • Initiates requests for product improvement to Engineering.
  • Travels to dealer/customer sites to assist dealers and field personnel with problem resolution.
  • Assist dealers with customer acceptance / satisfaction issues to help ensure future product sales.

  • Up to 10% Travel.
  • Standard business hours.


What you need to have:

  • High School / GED
  • 2-7 years job related experience
  • 3+ years lift truck industry experience.
  • Ability to travel to customer sites.
  • Dealer contact experience.
  • Interpretation of Engineering drawings / drafting.
  • Failure analysis experience.
  • Microsoft Office experience.
  • Statistical analysis skills.

  • Bachelor’s Degree: Engineering
  • Education may substitute for experience.
