Responsibilities:

  • Leads service team of 2-3 office staff and 6-12 service technicians
  • Safety first leadership
  • Prioritizes customer safety and satisfaction
  • Must have good communication and phone skills
  • Ensures service department profitability
  • Manages service parts and appliance inventory to improve ROI
  • Plans, estimates and completes new customer installations
  • Creates, prioritizes, schedules and dispatches work orders
  • Assists General Manager with the recruitment/selection of new employees and the evaluation of current employees.
  • Responsible for ensuring procedure compliance requirements are met by service center Employees.
  • Responsible for conducting safety meetings and ongoing safety training within the service center.
  • Assists General Manager with sales and customer retention activities.
  • Reviews assignments and paperwork to ensure quality, accuracy and timeliness

Requirements:

  • Previous technical team leadership experience required
  • 3+ years of Service Technician experience in propane/heating oil industry
  • Safety-first mentality.
  • Ability to study and learn credential requirements quickly.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams in complex, fast-paced business environment
  • Hands on Manager/ working manager mentality.
  • Valid Driver’s License (CDL Preferable)
  • Safe and clean driving record.

Pay- $70,000-$90,000 yearly salary, depending on experience
