Job Summary
The Bluegrass Care Clinic is a Ryan White–funded program dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive care to individuals living with HIV. Embedded within our Infectious Diseases clinic, our integrated behavioral health team plays a critical role in supporting patients’ overall health, medical adherence, and quality of life.
The clinician selected for this position will provide individual and group therapy, including substance use counseling, to patients experiencing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. This role encounters patients experiencing a wide range of psychosocial stressors—such as trauma, stigma, housing instability, and chronic illness—that impact engagement in care and long-term health outcomes. Services are delivered as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary medical team.
Applicants must be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) at the time of hire and demonstrate strong cultural humility, cultural competency, and a trauma-informed approach to care. Our clinic serves highly vulnerable populations, including individuals from gender and sexual minority communities, and clinicians must be comfortable providing affirming, inclusive, and respectful services.
Minorities, bilingual candidates, and clinicians passionate about working with underserved communities are strongly encouraged to apply.
