How will you make an impact in this role?

You will be part of a fast-paced, entrepreneurial team responsible for delivering world class Omnichannel cardmember experiences and personal integration through java services and data driven solution on Big Data stack, Spark, Scala, GCP, Elastic Search and APIs. You will be challenged with identifying innovative and transformative ideas and proof of concept to deliver against the existing and future needs of our customers.

Focus - Design, development, troubleshooting, and debugging of work efforts for customer-facing applications, business applications, and/or internal end-user applications.

Organizational Context - Member of a product engineering or delivery and integration team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform technical aspects of software development for assigned applications including design, developing prototypes, and hands- on coding assignments of various technologies.
  • Function as an engineer in an agile team by contributing to software builds through consistent development practices (tools, common components, and documentation)
  • Strong OpenSource concepts and enable engineers to guide and adapt.
  • Do code reviews and automated testing, build and adapt CICD within the team
  • Lead Product Management and work closely with product owners in defining roadmap
  • Debug software components and identify code defects for remediation
  • Collaborate with others in crafting and implementing your technical vision
  • Able to do deployment, support, and monitoring of software across test, integration and production environments.
  • Automate deployments in test or production environments
  • Automatically scale applications based on demand projections Leadership
  • Demonstrate increased self-reliance to achieve team goals
  • Influence team members with innovative changes and improvements by challenging status quo and demonstrating risk taking
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 5 to 6 years of software development experience in a professional environment
  • Wide breath of engineering experience, Big Data , SPARK , API, Elastic Search,, SCALA
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language, SCALA.,
  • Proficiency in the Big Data stack (Hadoop, Spark, NoSQL, HBase)
  • Experience in data streaming platforms experience such as Kafka, Airflow, Apex, Spark
  • Resolves complex technical design issues
  • Collaborate with the other architects, product managers, data scientists, business analysts and other engineers to define requirements and design solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • GCP and AWS technology is a plus
  • Java, Go Lang is a plus
  • Gihub actions for data piple is a plus

Salary Range: $85,000.00 to $150,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
