Software Engineer in Test
In this position you will join Fidelity’s Enterprise Cybersecurity business unit as a member of the Workforce Identity & Access Management product line team. We are a dynamic, high visibility team that provides access lifecycle control solutions for all of Fidelity’s business units. We are seeking motivated Software Engineer in Test Automation for our migration to an enterprise SailPoint IdentityIQ that will offer improved management access rights across our global enterprise.
The Team
The Workforce Identity & Access Management product line team provides provisioning, lifecycle management and control assessment solutions to technology teams and applications across Fidelity’s business units. We are responsible for providing capabilities that provide secure, stable access in a manner which ultimately improves Fidelity’s risk posture, ensures compliance with policy standards, and reduces the overall cybersecurity threat landscape facing the firm.
The Expertise You Have
- B.S. Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar technical field.
- 6+ years of software test automation for application user interfaces, services/APIs, and data quality.
- Experience with automation of functional, regression, performance, and chaos testing
- You have hands-on experience in testing using the following technologies:
- Experience with unit testing using framework such as JUnit, TestNG, Jasmine/Karma
- Experience with test automation tools such as Cucumber, Selenium, Playwright, Karate, Katalon
- Experience with data quality tools such as ICEDQ
- Experience with performance testing using tools such as JMeter, RushHour
- Experience with test management by design, develop, document, and execute tests in Xray
- Experience with Application Lifecycle Management tools such as Git, Jenkins, JIRA
- Experience with application monitoring tools such as DataDog, Splunk
The Skills You Bring
- You will be capable of building end-to-end test automation for applications
- Mine and manipulate data to create test data for multiple or complex projects
- Define automated regression tests for future projects and for ongoing regression efforts
- Document and report on identified system testing issues in standard defect tracking tool
- Identify defects in multiple environments and throughout all phases of the development life cycle and ensure that development groups address all open defects in a timely manner.
- Integration of test automation with Continuous Integration Tools such as Jenkins
- You have maniacal focus on automation and always looking towards reducing waste and improving efficiencies
- Adhere to established software engineering standard methodologies and standards.
- Ability to quickly learn, apply new technical skills, adapt and thrive to meet the needs of a fast paced, changing environment
