The Global Advertising and Brand Management (GABM) team is responsible for creating marketplace demand and driving commerce for American Express products and services through differentiated and innovative branding, marketing, and experiences. We have an ambitious goal: to be the most admired brand in the Fortune 500 and we aim to deliver on that by doing work that is both creative and effective. The Global Brand Sponsorships and Experiential Marketing team sits within GABM and leads 40+ partnerships globally, delivering best-in-class ticket access, live event and digital engagement platforms across Card Member and Prospect passion points of sports, music, theater and various other cultural interests.
The Senior Analyst in this role will sit on the Music & Entertainment team within the broader Sponsorships team, focusing on American Express festival partnerships & experiences. This role requires a detail-oriented and results-driven candidate to support the strategy, activation development, execution, and measurement of Amex’s U.S. festival partnerships. Domestic travel required (~5%) to execute on-site activations and visit event sites as needed.
Reporting to the Director, US Festivals, this New York-based role will manage the following as it relates to the US Festivals portfolio:
Core Responsibilities:
- Support in development and execution of Amex’s festival ticket access & activations, bringing our brand to life at scale for consumers in new, innovative ways
- Own and manage the internal and external creative approvals of marketing/activation assets to ensure consistency and compliance
- Support large-scale budgets in partnership with Finance team, ensuring close understanding of internal processes
- Follow consumer & industry trends closely to ensure activation plans are relevant & innovative with target audience
- Partner in the collection, analysis and reporting of key program metrics against set objectives
- Develop relationships across the American Express enterprise to further understand business goals and deliver value through experiential portfolio where possible
- Support Director in management of cross functional internal and external agency partners
- Support Director in creation and presentation of activation plans
Qualifications:
- 3+ years work experience, ideally with focus in sponsorship, experiential, brand marketing, and partnerships
- Passion for music/entertainment/festivals; natural curiosity for what’s new and trending culturally
- Proven track record in managing multiple workstreams, partners, cross-functional teams and agency partners
- Ability to work under pressure within compressed timelines
- Strong verbal & written communication skills (email & crafting presentations), as well as executive presence
- Strong measurement and analytical skills
- Experience in budget management
- Bachelor’s degree required

Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
