SUMMARY

The Senior Director, VBC Strategy and Growth leads and supports the growth of value‐based care initiatives across Kidneylink, the value-based care division of U.S. Renal Care. This position will work directly with physician partners, USRC clinics and health plans across the country to design and implement kidney focused, value‐based care initiatives. This work entails network strategy and development, payor partnership development (Medicare Advantage, Commercial and Medicaid), and program implementation. In addition, this position will be a key partner in continued development of USRC's value‐based care products, capabilities, and services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties and tasks may be assigned.

  • Drive Kidneylink's national network strategy and manage partnerships with Kidneylink's provider partners who are participating in value‐based care programs with CMS & private payers.
  • Develop partnerships with private payers nationwide including payer partner segmentation / identification, relationship management, value-based care program development and payor contracting.
  • Lead implementation of new payor programs in partnership with Kidneylink's market and clinical operations teams as well as Kidneylink's provider partners.
  • Manage administrative requirements of value‐based care programs, including provider agreements/contracts, program documentation & submissions to CMS & other payers, and related requirements.
  • Lead internal USRC cross‐functional workgroups focused on value‐based product & capability development, including the development of tools & resources for providers, reports/dashboard for program improvement, and related items.
  • Manage relationship & partner with 3rd party vendors & organizations who are providing services, products, and solutions to support USRC's value‐based care offering.
  • Upholds management goals of corporation by leading staff in team concepts and promoting a team effort.
  • Maintains effective personnel management and employee relations, including evaluating the performance of all personnel; approving and submitting all hours worked and counseling and disciplining employees.
  • Recruits, trains, develops, and supervises personnel.
  • Actively promotes GUEST customer service standards; develop effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Effectively communicates expectations; accepts accountability and holds others accountable for performance.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is required for the job.
