Membership Portfolio Services, within our US Consumer Services Business, is responsible for developing and scaling several growing businesses that are strategically important to American Express. We are developing unique and differentiated ways to strengthen the Membership Model by connecting Card Members with Merchants that create opportunities to help drive our growth over the mid-to-long term.

How will you make an impact in this role?

The Sr. Manager, Amex Offers Product Strategy role sits withing the Amex Offers Digital Media team. The role will report to the Director, Global Product and Partnerships and will be focused on setting strategies for a best in class Offer management system. They will be focused on our targeting and segmentation capabilities and identifying strategic opportunities to efficiently scale Offers and grow revenue. This role will work in partnership with many teams including the Amex Offers Sales & Sourcing team, product development teams, engineering and analytics teams to identify opportunities for merchant facing products and features.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy: Evaluate the Offers landscape and create and own short, medium and long-term strategies that will help us achieve our goals.
  • User feedback: Manage forums for user feedback and testing and communicate new product rollouts and capabilities back to users.
  • Journey mapping: Develop and own customer journey maps and identify relevant personas and use cases for features.
  • Product Prioritization: Assess business critical needs and create prioritization framework for new features and updates to existing functionality.
  • Collaboration and Communication: work cross-functionally to identify and define opportunities and communicate requirements, timelines and launch plans accordingly.
  • International Rollout: As part of the Global Center of Excellence, manage requests and enhancements for core global markets and assist with product rollouts in these markets.
  • Metrics of Success: defining, tracking and socializing metrics of success.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience working in digital product strategy or product development and launching digital experiences from start to finish.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders (and time-zones) across the US, EMEA, APAC and more.
  • Proven track record of positively collaborating with and influencing partners in a matrixed environment to achieve outcomes.
  • Ability to manage multiple business and technology workstreams, as well as the strong organizational skills necessary to do so.
  • Ability to work with white space to help design technical solutions to solve complex business problems.
  • Ability to analyze data to determine priorities, opportunities, and issues with the product.
  • Proven ability to adjust quickly to shifting priorities and manage through ambiguity and rapid change.

Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits

Salary range

  • $80,000 - $155,000
