Hours will be scheduled by supervisor (40 hours/week).
There are two shifts available:
10am-6:30pm
3pm-11:30pm
Job Summary
The Gatton Student Center STEPS Facilities Event Specialist reports directly to the Student Center Operations Specialist and performs set-up and breakdown to ensure safety and efficiency for all meetings and events in the UK Student Center and select other locations.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Collaborating with Event Management Office, directs student employees in proper setup
- Responsible for transporting equipment and materials to and from specified locations – including picking up and delivering goods, furniture and staging, loading, delivery, unloading, and placement / installation of all event equipment and materials
- Coordinates with the Event Management Office to provide equipment, furniture and materials for various University-related meetings and events
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Knowledge of stage setup a plus.
Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?

Preferred Education/Experience
Setup and break down of events, transporting materials.
