Job Summary

The Gatton Student Center STEPS Facilities Event Specialist reports directly to the Student Center Operations Specialist and performs set-up and breakdown to ensure safety and efficiency for all meetings and events in the UK Student Center and select other locations.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Collaborating with Event Management Office, directs student employees in proper setup
  • Responsible for transporting equipment and materials to and from specified locations – including picking up and delivering goods, furniture and staging, loading, delivery, unloading, and placement / installation of all event equipment and materials
  • Coordinates with the Event Management Office to provide equipment, furniture and materials for various University-related meetings and events



Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Knowledge of stage setup a plus.

Setup and break down of events, transporting materials.
