Job Summary
The Therapy Technician position in the Hand Therapy Clinic supports patient care activities under the direct supervision and direction of the treating therapist. This role assists with preparing patients and treatment areas, maintaining a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment, and supporting efficient clinic flow to enhance the overall patient experience. The Therapy Technician is expected to uphold high standards of safety and infection control while interacting with patients, families, staff, and visitors in a professional manner. All behaviors should consistently reflect respect, courtesy, teamwork, and genuine concern for the well-being of others.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Required and desired skills for the Rehab Technician position include a high school diploma or equivalent, with coursework or a background in exercise science or a related field strongly preferred. Prior experience as a Rehabilitation or Therapy Technician is desired. The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to follow clinical instructions accurately, attention to detail, and the capacity to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
